Band and Choir

Union Hill School offers several options in which students can participate in on-campus music programs.
Beginning Band is for students who are new to playing band instruments, such as flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or drums. The band meets after school from 3:15-4:10 p.m.
Bearcat Band is our advanced-level instrumental group before school, at 7:30-8:30 a.m., and is made up of players generally in their second year and beyond of playing in band.
Vocal Ensemble is a group for singers in fifth through eighth-grades. No previous choir experience is necessary, but may be helpful. The Vocal Ensemble learns and performs a variety of music from many styles and time periods, singing in two-part and three-part harmony. The vocal ensemble meets before school on from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
